More about me
Hello, I’m Becca. I live with my husband and 3 children in Wonersh, near Guildford and I am a mentored Postnatal Doula. Having had three very different postnatal experiences with my children, I know what a special but sometimes overwhelming experience it can be. I am passionate about supporting families during this time while they adapt to family life and get to know their baby. Throughout my previous career as a Careers Coach, I have supported individuals navigating change and it is a privilege to be able to now focus on ‘mothering the mother’ during perhaps the biggest change in life, the postnatal period! Whether this takes the form of an expert listening ear, a nutritious meal, or a chance for you to rest is led by you and your needs in that moment or day. I am calm and compassionate, and my support as your doula has no agenda or judgement. I am a qualified Breastfeeding Counsellor and trained with the Association of Breastfeeding Mothers (ABM) and I volunteer as an NHS Breastfeeding Peer Supporter and on the National Breastfeeding Helpline. As a Doula, this enables me to support you with your feeding journey, whether you choose to breastfeed or bottle feed. This could take the form of reassurance, support with positioning and attachment, or providing information and resources to ensure you feel knowledgeable and confident. Thank you for reading! Please do get in touch if you would like to chat more about how I could support you. Becca x
