Hello! I’m Bex, The IVF Doula. I’m a birth doula based in Hastings, East Sussex.
I support clients across the full range of reproductive experiences, but with a focus on my passion and specialism, which is working with those who are building a family via IVF or any other form of assisted conception.
I am a proud member of the infertility club who, after many years trying to create my own family, gave birth at home on the sofa to my bouncy, smiley son who was conceived through IVF (and a lot of love). After this experience I trained as a birth doula with Developing Doulas and now spend a lot of time reading, thinking and breathing all things birth.
My passion is to make my clients feel safe and heard throughout their journey, whatever that looks like, by ensuring that they are given tons of my practical and emotional support, lots of non-judgemental listening, any of the resources or information they need to make informed decisions and a ton of help to navigate the systems that they encounter and carve out the person-centred care they need.
I would love to have a chat about how we might be able to work together, even if (or especially if!) you’re not quite sure what that might look like yet. I regularly work with clients to design bespoke support that meets them where they’re at, including national and international travel.
