More about me

Hello! I’m Em, From Norwich in central Norfolk, I live with my wonderful family, Hubby Steve & our gorgeous Son Henry plus our two fluffy cats (although I absolutely adore dogs!).

I am a very down to earth person. I practice mindfulness, meditation & breathwork whenever possible. I also hold Pregnancy yoga, Relaxation classes, Biomechanics for birth, HypnoBirthing antenatals, Baby ‘Muma yoga, all of which contribute to my calm, focused, and energised presence as I help you bring life into the world and navigate into parenthood.

.. though I’m very calm and chilled, I’m also a bit goofy and quirky. Always up for a boogie & a giggle to keep the oxytocin flowing in your birth space. If you want too…..

My heartfelt mission is to guide you towards a positive and empowering birth experience, regardless of whether you choose a  spontaneous physiological birth, Cesarean birth, unmedicated labour, medicated , the sacred space of a home birth or free birth. ALL birth is a wondrous journey

I’ve a very holistic approach to birth – which ever way you path takes you. It’s my mission to allow you to feel empowered by you birth choices & following your instincts. You will feel listened to & feel Supported – ALL birth is a wondrous journey!

To me, being a doula is a calling. After years of supporting families in my classes & debrief sessions, I have gained a deep understanding of the birth process. I recognise the significance of a positive birth experience for new parents & the essential support needed in the postnatal period. This is the very reason I embraced the path of a Doula.

Client Review :

I’m so grateful for Em as my doula. Her support during my pregnancy was incredibly reassuring, and during labour, her guidance on breathing techniques helped me stay calm. Her knowledge of biomechanics was a game-changer, with positions and movements that kept me comfortable and helped things progress smoothly. Her expert care and compassion empowered me throughout the whole experience.
