I am a mum of 6 closely-spaced children with an absolute passion for pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding.
Whilst I feel honoured to be invited into any birthing space, I have personal experience of very fast labours, inductions, and homebirth/freebirth, all using only natural pain management techniques.
Alongside my work as a birth and postnatal doula, I am a university qualified antenatal practitioner and breastfeeding counsellor, a trained hypnobirthing teacher, and I also teach first aid, another of my passions which is firmly entrenched in my NHS work as a Paramedic.
In my ideal world, every new parent would experience pregnancy, birth and their infant feeding journey in a truly positive way, feeling supported and held as they find their way. Sadly this isn’t everyone’s experience, so I am doing what I can to improve this, one family at a time, through the clients I work with.
