I have worked with many families over the years and helped bring more peace, joy, humour and love to the journey.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing parents go from worried to excited and believing in themselves and feeling more assured and supported.
When their shoulders relax, or they have a little cry and say they feel calm and better prepared now they’ve brought me into their birth team… it brings me a lot of happiness!
I teach couples how to really stand strong in their convictions, trust their decision-making process, and harness the flow of birth energy.
Using a blend of biomechanics knowledge, shiatsu skills, optimal positioning info, and positive mindset for an empowered approach, couples find the magic, joy and support of feeling truly held and nurtured as their birthing journey unfolds. After campaining for gentler births for the last 15 years, I must say that this really is a key aspect in my birth care – especially as I understand the high prevalance of sexual violence women may also have been exposed to in their lives.
Mostly I try to bring something that can’t be taught – love, laughter, trust, sensitivity, thoughfulness and nurture.
