More about me

Hi,

I am Serena, a mom of two girls. I am a Mentored Postnatal Doula, an IBCLC (Lactation Consultant) and a former Physiotherapist.

I am Italian. Do you like good food? So do I. I also love cooking, sharing a meal, and having a good coffee (maybe with a cookie). 😉

Whatever your background, culture, religion, or sexuality, you are welcome here. I love meeting people, discovering what we have in common, and learning from what makes us unique.

When a baby is born, so is a parent.

And sometimes, all you need is someone beside you as you find your own way through the amazing journey of parenthood.

I have supported many families through their infant feeding journeys and the joys and challenges of life with a new baby.

As your IBCLC and Postnatal Doula, I am here to offer:

  • Antenatal preparation and education
  • Specialist infant feeding guidance
  • A calm, non-judgemental space to ask questions, debrief and reflect
  • Support in understanding your baby’s needs, cues and behaviour
  • Guidance as you find your rhythm and grow in confidence as a parent
  • Support for partners as they find their own role
  • Help understanding your rights and advocating for yourself and your baby
  • Time and space to rest, reconnect and find yourself again
  • Hands-on baby care and light practical support when needed
  • Nourishing home-cooked meals
  • Light housework, agreed upon together
  • Signposting to trusted local services and resources
  • Weekend care.

If I don’t know the answer, we’ll find it together. My role is not to tell you how to parent, but to walk alongside you, offering knowledge, reassurance and support.

Fun acts about me:

One of my favourite ways to unwind is kneading bread or pizza dough — I actually feel so proud when I see how beautifully the bread has risen and all those lovely little bubbles inside.

I love planning, but becoming a mum helped shape a new version of me — I’m still learning to let go of what isn’t important and make space for what truly matters.

I’m terrified of heights… yet one of the first things I do in a new city is find somewhere high enough to admire the view!
