More about me
My name is Jane Wallington and I am a Birth Doula from Bassingbourn in Royston (Borders of South Cambs, North Herts & Beds) supporting families across the region. I live with my husband, two daughters, two cats, 5 chickens and George, our dog. I am also a Godmother of three 😊
I’ve had the privilege of supporting all types of births in all settings over the years, including homebirth, hospital birth – midwifery led unit, delivery unit and theatre. I have supported many medical professionals, and families who have chosen to VBAC, have an induction, or vaginal breech birth, or have experienced previous birth trauma, and those who are welcoming their rainbow babies.
Your birth experience matters to me. I will help you to have a positive birth, even if things should change and work with you endlessly to give you what you need, whether it be advocacy, information, reminders, encouragement, reassurance, help with positions, massage, hugs, food, drink, breastfeeding support and much more.
