About Me I’m Ellie and I’ve been supporting families in Cambridge since 2012. I have supported a spectrum of births and family circumstances including homebirths, VBACS, caesareans, waterbirths, twins, and families with complex needs and neurodivergence. I am passionate about protecting the emotional wellbeing of my clients during the childbearing year and am hear to listen and guide you , as you navigate this transition. As either your birth or postnatal doula, I will focus on preparation, so you can get to a place of positivity and confidence about your upcoming journey. We build a relationship, so when the time comes, I will look after your individual needs in the moment, as part of your team. I will provide the most up to date evidence based information, for you to make decisions as you fnd your way. I am a qualified NLP Master Practitioner, and can help with limiting beliefs, fears, phobias, and finding clarity, in the minefield that is birth and parenting choices. I have experience with babywearing, infant feeding, hypnobirthing and comfort measures in labour and birth.
Other Services I deliver trauma resolution sessions known as the “3 Step Rewind Process” and run a training course for other birthworkers to learn the method. As a volunteer I am A Community Ambassador with Women’s Aid (supporting women affected by domestic abuse) and a Peer Supporter for the charity Pregnancy Sickness Support (supporting families suffering with hyperemesis/ nausea and vomiting during pregnancy).
DD Companionship, Coaching and Mentoring I am a Developing Doulas Companion and offer mentoring and coaching for both new and experienced doulas. This can be as your primary mentor, as you work your way through the doula UK recognition process, or one off sessions in my specialist role as an NLP practitioner. things I can help with are “imposter syndrome”, anxiety, goal setting, decision making/dilemma work, website/directory content and wording, help supporting families with HG, neurodivergence and mental health issues.
