More about me

Hello and a very warm welcome to Mother Nurtured Doula Services.

I’m Angela, a full-spectrum doula, antenatal educator and birth trauma and placenta practitioner supporting women and families across Lancashire.

My work is rooted in nurture, informed choice and the belief that every woman deserves to feel heard, respected and supported through life’s many transitions:

🌿 Menstruation
🌿 Pregnancy and birth
🌿 Motherhood
🌿 Pregnancy loss

My own experiences of pregnancy, birth, motherhood and pregnancy loss inspired me to begin my professional training. I qualified as an antenatal and baby educator in 2013 and as a doula in 2016. I trained and continue to develop my knowledge and skills through FEDANT, Developing Doulas, BirthBliss Academy and other worldwide specialist training providers.

Today, I offer:

💚 Birth preparation classes and workshops
💚 Birth and postnatal doula support
💚 Pregnancy relaxation
💚 Birth reflection and 3 Step Rewind trauma healing
💚 Baby massage, baby yoga and Bath Babies
💚 Placenta encapsulation
💚 Reiki and sound healing
💚 Rebozo Postpartum Closing the Bones
💚 Compassionate support following pregnancy or baby loss

I am also a Reiki Level 2 Practitioner and meditation instructor trained in the Usui System of Natural Healing.

Whether you are preparing for birth, finding your feet in motherhood, processing a difficult experience or simply looking for a safe and nurturing space, you will always receive a warm welcome.

My classes, workshops and individual sessions are held at:
